What your score out of ten actually means
Reading the result properly, including the part where the number matters less than the shape of the breakdown.
It is a score for a photo
This sounds like a disclaimer and it is actually the most useful thing on this page. The model receives an image. Everything it scores, it scores from that image, which means every property of the image - lighting, angle, lens distance, crop - is inside the result whether you intended it or not.
The practical consequence: your score has a range, not a value. The same subject photographed four different ways will produce four different numbers, and the spread is wider than most people assume before they try it. If you want the top of your own range, that is a photography problem.
Read the shape, not the total
Six axes - size, shape and proportions, skin texture, head, overall appeal, erotic impact - and the interesting information is in how uneven they are, not in what they average to.
A flat profile scoring similarly across all six is a photograph the model found unremarkable in every direction. A spiky one, high on two axes and low on two others, scores about the same overall but describes something specific. The second result tells you something; the first mostly tells you the photo was fine.
The two subjective axes move most between photos of the same subject. If your overall appeal and erotic impact are well below your physical axes, that gap is very likely lighting and framing rather than anything else, because those are the two axes presentation moves.
What a high score is worth
Concretely: entry to the leaderboard, which is free, works signed out, and ranks every posted scan highest first. The top three rows carry gold, silver and bronze chips. Tapping any row opens that entry's own six-axis breakdown, which makes the board the best available reference for what a given number actually looks like.
And a starting position in the Arena, where your score is the fighter you enter. Arena matches stake Spurs, auto-match you against a rival in your league, and settle instantly with both scores shown. A high score is an asset there in a way it is not anywhere else on the site.
What it is not
It is not a measurement, it is not a medical opinion, and it is not a comparison against a population - the leaderboard is a ranking of what people chose to post, which is not the same as a distribution of what exists.
The whole thing is an entertainment product for adults and the output is written to be entertaining. Reading it as anything else is a way to have a worse time with it than it is designed to give you.
