Getting started on Cock Rate
What to do first, what it costs, and which parts are free. In order.
Start with a scan
Upload a photo and you get a score out of ten, a verdict, a roast and the six-axis breakdown behind the number. This is the free tier and it is what everything else on the site hangs off - your rating history is what you enter on the leaderboard, and what you take into the Arena.
It wants an account, and signing up is quick. If your first result surprises you, run it twice more with different lighting before drawing conclusions - there is a reason for that.
Then put it on the board
Any rating in your history can be posted to the leaderboard with one tap. It is free, and it is one of the few things here that works completely signed out - a guest entry just shows as Anonymous.
Browsing the board is the fastest way to calibrate what your own number means, because every row opens its own breakdown.
Two balances, and they are not the same thing
Coins are what you spend: AI clips, custom orders, premade clips, everything with a price on it. Spurs are what you stake in the Arena, and they do not leave it. Keeping them separate is deliberate, and mixing them up is the most common thing new users get wrong about how the site works.
Rewards is the free route to a Coin balance - short surveys, credit for completing them - and Special Offers is where whatever is currently discounted is listed. Both are worth checking before your first purchase rather than after it.
Then pick a judge, or a template
This is the first thing that costs money, so it is worth knowing the two paths differ. AI judges are per-template pricing shown on the card, minutes to render, automatic refund on failure. Human judges quote your request individually and nothing is charged until you accept the quote. The full comparison is here.
Browsing costs nothing on either side. You can read every judge profile, watch the intro clips and check every template price without spending anything.
And the Arena, when you want a use for the score
The Arena is the competitive end: enter your fighter, stake Spurs, get auto-matched against a rival in your league, winner takes the pot. It settles instantly and shows both scores.
It is the part of the site that gives your rating a second life after the novelty of the first result wears off, which for most people is the point at which they either find something to do here or stop.
